Afterschool & Recreation is a place where students are encouraged to ignite their interests and enrich their worlds. Children and youth ages 5 to 16 can get homework help plus enrichment programming ranging from STEAM to sports teams and youth leadership opportunities.

Each of our programs has its own mascot chosen by students. Whether a Saratoga Eagle or Williamsbridge Wolverine, the participants take pride and ownership in their group, looking forward to educational and cultural field trips across NYC, and take full advantage of all the offerings, even making suggestions based on their interests.

Currently, all of the programs are open to residents of HFH; additionally, the Saratoga and Allie’s Place Afterschool & Recreation programs are open to members of the community.
